Managing Director and Principal Consultant
Maheep Singh Thapar graduated in planning from the prestigious School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi and went on to complete his post graduation in Urban and Regional Planning from the well known School of Planning, CEPT, Ahmedabad where he was also awarded a Gold Medal for the ‘Distinguished Student’ award. 
He gained valuable experience while being the director of a consulting firm in Hyderabad and has been continuously involved in large and important Urban Planning & Development projects concerning the city of Hyderabad. He is a qualified Urban and Regional Planner and also is currently one of the main Offcie Bearer of the Institute of Town Planners, India, ITPI, Andhra Pradesh State Regional Chapter.
Having hands-on knowledge on Geographical Information
Systems (GISs) helped him in pursuing his research work
on the applications of GIS technology on a critical study
of the emergency management situation of Hyderabad city
and also proved as a useful input for the government of Andhra
Pradesh in its plan to upgrade the emergency response system.
An avid technologist and a keen enthusiast for modern planning techniques, he encourages innovative methods and incisive approaches to identify issues come up with viable solutions.
His wide ranging exposure on the planning subject and continuous exposure to the live projects enable him to be a speaker on many occasions.
Having gained useful experience in the fields of physical planning, structure planning, strategic planning and project formulation, he has structured the firm where the zeal for professional commitment reflects in the delivery of quality and time bound services and products of use to planning and development agencies, municipal organisations and consulting firms.
